IT Network Administrator
This individual should have a high level of initiative and will assume responsibility for helpdesk support services, as well as assisting with hardware, software and network troubleshooting in a timely and effective manner.

This individual will administer and maintain all network servers and
operating systems. Environment consists of the following: Microsoft Windows 2003 w/ Active Directory, Exchange 2003, Linux / Unix, OS X and Cisco Technologies including routers, PIX, & VPN.
Additional technologies include Video Servers, Automation Systems, Nonlinear Editing Systems, Satellite Receivers & Controllers, Remote Transmitter Controllers, Firewalls, Routers,
Switches, and a Weather Radar System.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent work related experience.
Cisco certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of solid networking experience.
• Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently yet support team responsibilities on an on-going basis.
• Ability to work under stressful conditions with a sense of urgency.
Perform network administration tasks (account management, security maintenance, resource organization, etc.)
Monitor and manage network resources and administer changes when necessary
Install workstation and server OS, applications software, patches, updates, upgrades and service packs as necessary.
Support and maintain backup software and media
Generate network documentation as needed
Performs a full range of technical support activities
Install network wiring
Install and/or repair of PC’s, laptops, and peripheral devices
Basic to advanced printer troubleshooting
Identify and troubleshoot software, hardware, and network problems and issues as they occur
