Red flags

Beware of verbal agreements or vague details. A contractor should provide a detailed, written agreement outlineing the complete scope of work. At minimum, this shoul dinclude the following: all measurements and materials to be used, detailed drawings, project time frame and completion date, and payment requirements. Be cautious of contractors asking for 100% payment up from, or even 50%.
