The Powerball jackpot has been growing since early October, and gas stations around town say it's affecting ticket sales.

"Lots of people having like a dream of about getting this, about this big prize, so everybody is trying," one Jacksonville BP gas station manager said. "It's worth it to spend the $2 to win that kind of money."

It's not just Powerball, but gas stations around town are all seeing an increase in Lotto sales. They credit it to the economy.

"We see an increase in the sales, particularly in the sales of Lotto and Powerball and Mega Money, too," the manager said.

There was a steady stream of customers buy Powerball tickets Wednesday at the BP off Beach Boulevard.

What would you do if you won all that money?

"First of all, I would take care of my family, and I would go back to Cambodia with my fiance to see my kid," ticket buyer Raphael Le Gare said.

He said he would be so excited to win and knows exactly who he would call and tell first.

"Most likely my grandmother," he said. "I'm a grandma's boy; and my buddy over there."

The winning numbers will be available on the Florida Lottery's website after 11 p.m. Wednesday.
