Scott Nelowet, owner of French Fry Heaven, said he was determined to succeed so before he even opened up the mobile restaurant he went right to the source for help.
"We went to the health department and said we're thinking about doing this, we're thinking about building it this way, we're thinking of buying this, so they signed off on it before we did anything," says Nelowet.
French Fry Heaven is all about the deliciousness of the potato and they're prepared almost any way you want it. It doesn't take much to get the perfect fried potato. Nelowet says that helps with inspections.
"We keep everything consolidated and small. You do have expectations you're like a restaurant they should be able to check in corners and make sure that everything is clean and that when people are serving, they're wearing gloves," says Nelowet.
Consistency is key and having the employees who make sure the mission is meet everyday.
"We hire people who have good spirit, they make good employees, they care about the customers," says Nelowet.
