Restaurant Report Card

Five Star Pizza on Blanding Boulevard in Orange Park was shut down because of live roaches.  They were crawling on the wall over the table where workers prepare dough, on the floor by the drink cooler in the waiting area and more were found on the floor under clean equipment.  Five Star Pizza was allowed to open back up the next day after getting exterminated.  This time they had zero violations.

Beignets Caribbean Café had a bug battle as well last week. There were some dead roaches on a shelf with clean plates and inside a cooler.  Live ones near bags of rice and on the hinges of that cooler.  The inspector wrote the operator killed the bugs and cleaned up on site. There were also sticky traps set up to kill bugs.  The next day the inspector cleared Beignets with zero violations.

Finally Philly Connection in the Argyle Village Shopping Center had bugs last week.  It was shut down because of nearly a dozen live roaches  in a crevice at the front counter by the box freezer.  They also found roach excrement on cabinets at the front counter.  Employees cleaned the cabinets and the next day Philly connection was allowed to open back up with no traces of bugs.
