Deputies arrest carjacking suspect

St. Johns County Sheriff's Office credits the public with helping them find a man wanted in an attempted attempted carjacking early Tuesday morning.
Surveillance photos show the man outside the Kangaroo store at 465 State Road 16 sometime after 4 a.m. Tuesday. A 31-year-old woman told deputies after she went in to pay for her gas and a drink, she was returning to her car the man walked out from behind the business and told her he needed her car because he "just escaped from jail.
