Young couple killed in Christmas crash

A 25-year-old man and his 28-year-old wife died Tuesday afternoon when their pickup truck left State Road A1A on a curve and crashed into a tree near the entrance to Anastasia State Park.

According to the St. Augustine Police Department, Trevor Leonardi and his wife Jennifer Roos-Leonardi, were headed north State Road A1A in their Nissan Titan about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday when the pickup left the road on a curve and crashed into a tree.
