Cats found suffering, dead at 'no-kill' shelter

Officials in Madison County say they've removed hundreds of cats found crowded in unsanitary conditions at Caboodle Ranch, a self-proclaimed no-kill shelter.

A five-month investigation into Caboodle Ranch by People for the Ethical Treatment of Aminals found the self-proclaimed "cat rescue sanctuary" in Madison County was a one-man operation that allowed hundreds of cats to live in filthy, crowded conditions and suffer from neglect.
