Germany police are searching for someone who stole a 44 pound metal cookie from outside a factory.
The giant golden snack was a landmark as part of a statue at a leading cookie manufacturer since 1913 until it vanished on January 21.
A newspaper in Hanover reported a ransom note was left with two demands.
They included a donation of chocolate cookies to the local children's hospital, and a 1,000 euro donation to a local animal shelter.
Hanover police are trying to figure out if the demands are serious.
