JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

A 51-year-old woman was killed and two others injured Tuesday night when gunfire breaks out at a home on Old Middleburg Road.

Just after 8:30 p.m., Jacksonville Fire-Rescue responded to a call about multiple gunshot wound victims near the intersection of Old Middleburg and Nussbaum Drive. Two men were transported to Shands-Jacksonville Medical Center, but a woman died at the scene.

Police identified the woman who died as Cynthia Boyd, who lived on Hipps Road. The names of the two men injured and their conditions were not released.

A neighbor who knows the victims said there was no indication anything was wrong until rescue personnel and police arrived.

"We didn't heard nothing. We heard no shots -- no nothing. The first thing we heard was the fire trucks and the cops and the ambulances pulling in," Annette Pozar said. "They were older, they owned the place. They were in there cleaning it up, probably getting ready to rent it back out."

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said no arrests have been made and they do not have a good description of the the gunman. The shootings remain under investigation.
