JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

One person is dead and another is in critical condition after a crash in Arlington.

It happened at the corner of Merrill Road and Fort Caroline Road.

Investigators tell Channel 4 that a car heading eastbound on Merrill Road crossed over the median and hit another car.

The first car flipped over, killing one person inside, police said. The other person inside the car was taken to Shands.

No other injuries are reported. Police are investigating.
