1 critical after shooting at apartment

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

One person is at Shands Jacksonville Medical Center with life-threatening injuries after being shot before midnight Wednesday.

The shooting took place at the Lincoln Court Apartments in the 700 block of Lincoln Court in the Hogan's Creek area.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office Homicide Unit was still on scene investigating early Wednesday morning.

There were no witnesses and there are currently no suspects in custody.

The person shot went into surgery shortly after arriving at the hospital.
