One person was flown to a hospital after being shot early Thursday morning in St. Johns County.

The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office told Channel 4 it responded to the 4000 block of Golf Ridge Drive sometime after midnight.

The victim was flown to Orange Park Medical Center, but the victim's condition was not immediately known.

The Sheriff's Office said it's investigation is ongoing. No other details were immediately available.
