1 killed in industrial accident at Northside plant

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

A 21-year-old man person was killed in an industrial accident at a plant on the Northside late Thursday afternoon, according to Jacksonville Fire-Rescue.

The accident happened at the Bacardi Plant in the 12000 block of North Main Street about 5 p.m.

Police identified the man as Lawerence Davis.

Investigators said he was crushed inside a piece of equipment.
