JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A teenager was hospitalized after what may have been a shootout late Thursday morning on W. Palm Avenue, near the intersection of Edgewood Avenue North and Commonwealth Avenue.
The name and condition of the victim was not yet known. Witness statements indicated there were two people shooting at each other.

Jacksonville police said several shell casings were found at the scene. While they don't have any details about the 11:40 a.m. shooting, they are looking to an older white police-style car seen leaving the area.
