1 still sought in truck burglary, wallet theft

2 others determined to be witnesses

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police in Jacksonville are now just looking for one man they said burglarized a truck and stole someone's wallet Monday.

Two others who were also initially being sought have since been determined to be witnesses and are no longer considered suspects, police said.

They said once investigators made contact with both individuals and interviewed them, they were both able to help police get closer to solving the case.

Police said the thief broke into the vehicle in the 3600 block of Avalon Cove Drive East on the Southside. They said the man used both of the victim's credit cards in numerous locations throughout Jacksonville and Jacksonville Beach for a total of $701.24.

The thief's gray Dodge Ram truck was seen on surveillance.
