Fall From Pickup Kills Middleburg Man

MIDDLEBURG, Fla. -- A 20-year-old man died Monday afternoon after falling from the tailgate of a pickup truck last weekend.The incident in the truck took place at about 2:25 a.m. on Saturday, on Wilderness Circle in Middleburg.According to the Florida Highway Patrol, 23-year-old Rocky Clint Remington was driving north on Wilderness Circle in a GMC Pickup truck with Aaron Michael Singley riding in the truck's tailgate. The truck was traveling at approximately 10 mph when Singley fell from the tailgate and landed on the road.
He was rushed to Shands-Jacksonville Medical Center via air ambulance, where he died two days later.
