JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Police are searching for a man suspected in a bank robbery and said they need the public's help to identify the robber.
The robbery took place Thursday at the Wachovia Bank in the 11000 block of Old St. Augustine Road near Interstate 295.
According to a police report, the man passed the teller a bag, inside of which the teller found a note stating, "This is a robbery. I got a gun. Give me all your money."
The robber fled on foot with a bag full of money.
The man was caught on tape by the bank's surveillance cameras. He was talking on a cell phone and wearing a dark-colored shirt, a white baseball cap and sunglasses -- a description similar to that of an at-large bank robber suspected in a July robbery in Mandarin.
The robber in the July bank heist also used a similar method of operation, passing the teller a bag with a note inside.
Anyone who recognizes the man in surveillance images of the robbery is asked to call Crimestoppers at 866-845-TIPS.
