Border Patrol Agent Pleads Guilty To Dealing Marijuana

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- U.S. Border Patrol Agent Tony "Hollywood" Henderson, 46, has pleaded guilty to one count of distributing marijuana and faces up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine, United States Attorney Robert E. O'Neill announced Friday.According to the plea agreement, in the summer of 2004, an informant working through a man named Pedro Fernandez discussed buying marijuana from Henderson.According to prosecutors Fernandez and the informant arrived at Henderson's residence on Dec. 10, 2005, and obtained about three pounds of marijuana.
Investigators said that further investigation revealed that Henderson distributed approximately 6 pounds of marijuana to another person in Baker and Columbia counties between December 2003 and May 2004.On Aug. 24, 2006, Fernandez pled guilty to distributing marijuana and was later sentenced to 20 months in prison.In addition to prison and a fine, Henderson, a resident of Macclenny, could serve at least two years of supervised release.The case was investigated by the FBI, the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, the Office of the Inspector General Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the Live Oak Police Department.
