Recall Roundup For Feb. 13

A bit of fashion for your child could be dangerous, as some hoodies are being taken off the shelves because they could choke your child.

The hoodies have a drawstring in the hood that the government says could pose a strangulation hazard. No such incidents have been reported.

The hoodies were made by Bonafide Love and were sold exclusively at Nordstrom's.

Playing in the dirt is something every child can get into, but with a certain toy rake, there may be more to worry about than just getting dirty.

The company is recalling the rakes because it violates the lead paint standard. Officials urge parents to return the rake for a full refund. The rakes were made by Downeast Concepts and were sold nationwide at home improvement and toy stores.

Going from the garden to the garage, watch out for air compressors from Campbell Hausfeld. The company says the protective covers on the motor can ignite and start a fire. Eleven such incidents have been reported, but no one has been injured as a result.

Sterling silver teethers are also being recalled by Elegant Baby. Officials say that heart can break off and possibly cause your child to choke. The company says they've received one report of the heart becoming lodged in a baby's mouth, but the heart was removed and the baby was not hurt. The teethers were sold at independent baby boutiques nationwide.
