Woman Dies After Jet Ski Accident

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- An Atlantic Beach woman died Saturday from her injuries from a jet ski accident on the Intracoastal Waterway.A Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission officer said 36-year-old Shannon Fralicker was jumping waves on a personal watercraft about 1:30 p.m. in the Pine Island area north of St. Augustine when she hit a wave and was thrown against the handlebars.Fralicker was transported by air ambulance to Shands-Jacksonville Medical Center, where she died several hours later.A man riding a second watercraft when the accident occurred was not injured.Fish and Wildlife officers continue to investigate the death.
