'Iron Man' continued to blow away the competition this weekend, as ROBERT DOWNEY JR.'s superhero flick picked up another $50.5 million at the box office, bringing its total domestic receipts to $177.1 million, and the international total to a whopping $276.1 million, according to preliminary studio estimates.
In the movie directed by JON FAVREAU ('Elf,' 'Zathura'), ROBERT DOWNEY, JR. plays Tony Stark, a billionaire industrialist and genius inventor whose captivity by insurgents motivates him to build a suit of armor to escape.
