GBI: St. Marys Man Tried To Hire Someone To Kill Ex-Wife

POSTED: Tuesday, June 3, 2008

An investigation involving the sheriff's offices in Camden and Brantley counties, the police departments in St. Marys and Kingsland and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation resulted in the arrest of James Losey, 32, on a charge of conspiracy to commit murder.

Authorities said the St. Marys man tried to hire someone to kill his ex-wife last month.

Lowery was booked into the Camden County Jail on charges of criminal intent to commit murder and criminal solicitation of murder.

Lowery was owner of A&J Motorsports in St. Marys, which closed earlier this year.
