1 Killed, 6 Injured In SUV Rollover

A 71-year-old Middleburg woman was killed Saturday evening and six others in an SUV were injured when the vehicle overturned Saturday evening in Clay County.According to the Florida Highway Patrol, all seven people in sport-utility vehicle were ejected after driver Danielle Geraci, 24, of Jacksonville, lost control on county Road 218 and the SUV overturned.Marie Hasse was transported to Orange Park Medical Center, where she died.Geraci was critically injured and transported to Shands-Jacksonville Medical Center. Troopers said the other passengers, including children age 3 to 14, received non-life-threatening injuries.According to the FHP report, none of the occupants of the vehicle were wearing seat belts.Troopers said the wreck was still under investigation and charges were pending.
