It's hard to imagine teen rockers THE JONAS BROTHERS without lead singer JOE, but believe it or not, being a rock star was the last thing on the heartthrob's mind, he reveals, in a special new issue of COSMO Girl!, on stands June 17th! 

"I was totally not down with singing," Joe says. "I was trying to be cool and just wanted to skateboard and be the funny guy." He changed his tune, however, when he saw how girls reacted to the singing debuts of his brothers, NICK and KEVIN. "Seeing the reactions they got from the girls, I was like, 'Maybe I should try and sing,'" he says. "And then I fell in love with it."
