JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A day after gunfire disrupted a quiet summer day in a downtown park, police have charged a 17-year-old boy with the shooting, which left another teen critically injured.
Investigators announced on Thursday that Zachary Robinson shot Joshua Miller, also 17, Wednesday afternoon in Hemming Plaza.
Police have charged Robinson with aggravated assault in the shooting.
Officers said the two teens were sitting on a bench near the skyway when an argument erupted over a Playstation.
Police said Robinson pulled out a gun and shot the victim multiple times.
A man who identified himself as the victim's brother told Channel 4 he chased the gunman before the suspected shooter was caught about two blocks from the scene of the shooting.
Miller was taken to Shands-Jacksonville Medical Center, where he remains in critical condition.
