Police: 16-Year-Olds Rob Pizza Delivery Drivers

Because Gun Was Used, Teens Being Charged As Adults

POSTED: Wednesday, July 16, 2008

Two 16-year-old Brunswick residents are each charged with two counts of armed robbery after an investigation into the holdups of pizza delivery persons this month.

The Glynn County Police Department arrested Marquise Timms and John Anthony Workman after the robbery of a Domino's delivery person Sunday night on Altama Avenue.

They are also accused in the holdup of a Pizza Hut driver on Stonewall Street on July 3.

The two were being held at the Savannah Youth Detention Center, but since the teenagers are accused of using a gun in the commission of a felony, they were charged as adults.
