BRUNSWICK, Ga. -- A man is hospitalized with serious injuries after being run over and dragged more than 300 feet behind the car of a driver who chased him after an argument.
The victim, 20-year-old Josh Carlisle, was in serious condition Friday at a Savannah hospital.
Carlisle's brother said they were leaving a Dollar General store Thursday when Sage Nuss and a man accosted them, accusing Carlisle of breaking into the Nuss' home.
The brothers fled in their car and say the couple chased them. Carlisle got out at a school to look for a police officer. His brother said the driver chasing them sped up and ran over Carlisle.
"His leg was almost halfway cut off," a witness told Channel 4's Jim Piggott. "I don't know what she done or what he done, but it was scary."
Brunswick police said Nuss was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, hit-and-run and driving wrecklessly.
