Meth Lab Falls On Hotel Guest

PENSACOLA, Fla. -- Authorities said a guest at a Pensacola hotel found a portable methamphetamine lab when a black backpack fell from the ceiling and landed on her head.The guest, Leslie Dalton, called the Escambia County Sheriff's Office Monday morning to report what she had found. She said her suspicions were raised when she looked in the bag and found a probation ID from Tennessee.Authorities said there were no drugs found in the bag, but there were chemicals used in the production of methamphetamine.The sheriff's office is not releasing the identity of the person on the probation ID or information about previous guests of the hotel room.
