2 Men Killed In DUI Crash

POSTED: Wednesday, August 20, 2008

Authorities say a South Carolina man was drunk when he pulled in front of a motorcycle and caused the deaths of two men.

Jimmy Dunn was driving Tuesday night when he made a left turn into the path of a motorcycle ridden by Harold Steve Davis and Jason Hennis. Clearwater police say the motorcycle struck the right side of Dunn's vehicle, ejecting both men from the bike. Dunn fled the scene but was stopped by a witness to the crash.

Davis was pronounced dead at the scene, and Hennis was taken by air ambulance to a hospital, where he later died.

Dunn was charged with two counts of DUI manslaughter. No bail had been set.
