Groups Call Off Search For Missing Orlando Girl

POSTED: Tuesday, November 11, 2008

Two groups have called off the search for missing toddler Caylee Anthony.

Caylee Anthony was last seen in June but her mother, Casey, did not report the 3-year-old missing until July.

Casey Anthony has pleaded not guilty to charges of first-degree murder, aggravated child abuse, aggravated manslaughter and four counts of lying to investigators about the disappearance of her daughter.

This past weekend, Texas EquuSearch led hundreds of volunteers around Orange County, hoping to find the little girl in wooded areas.

A bounty hunter Leonard Padilla also searched for Caylee in the Little Econ River.

The celebrity bounty hunter said he will hold a memorial service for the girl, a move that angered Caylee's grandparents.

George and Cindy Anthony lashed out at Padilla, not for the search but because of the planned memorial service.

"No one here is giving a flipping, God's anything about her, except us two right here," said Cindy Anthony while pointing to her husband, George Anthony. "I'm not on TV every night on Nancy Grace with this stuff."
