Two of three teenagers charged with firing shots into a crowd outside a Lake City Elks Lodge early Saturday morning are under arrest, according to the Columbia County Sheriff's Office.
Three people were hit by gunfire about 12:30 a.m. in the parking lot of the B&S Combs Elks Lodge on Washington Street. Investigators said a least two guns were used. The victims were all taken to hospitals in Gainesville. Their names and conditions were not released, but the sheriff's office said all survived their injuries.
A witness told WCJB-TV that two females and a male were struck by gunfire -- at least one of them a teenager.
Columbia County detectives with the assistance of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement's crime lab from Tallahassee investigated the shootings and quickly identified three men believed responsible for the shootings.
Detectives arrested Marcus Jones, 18, later Saturday morning and charged him with three counts of aggravated battery with a firearm.
The sheriff's office obtained warrants on two others. Bruce L. Harris, 19, is wanted on three counts of attempted murder, and Jeffrey Clark, also 19, is wanted on three counts of aggravated battery with a firearm.
Sgt. Ed. Seifert said Monday that Harris was captured and deputies have learned the whereabouts of Clark.
"We have no idea what the motive was and why this occurred," Seifert said. "Our detectives are working it, we'll find it."
