Man Killed At Waycross Housing Compex

Waycross police are searching for a gunman after a man was shot to death Saturday morning.
Officers were called to the Garlington Heights Public Housing Complex after shots were fired about 1 a.m.
Arriving officers found the body of 40-year-old Derrick Clark behind the steering wheel of a 2008 Ford Mustang. He had been shot several times.
An autopsy was to be conducted Monday at the Georgia Bureau of Investigation facility in Savannah.

This was the first homicide of 2009 in Waycross.
