Waycross police are searching for a gunman after a man was shot to death Saturday morning.Officers were called to the Garlington Heights Public Housing Complex after shots were fired about 1 a.m.Arriving officers found the body of 40-year-old Derrick Clark behind the steering wheel of a 2008 Ford Mustang. He had been shot several times.An autopsy was to be conducted Monday at the Georgia Bureau of Investigation facility in Savannah.Anyone with information about the slaying is asked to call 912-287-2921. Callers may remain anonymous.This was the first homicide of 2009 in Waycross.

A fight broke out twice in St. Johns County over a car repossession on Usina Road Extension late Tuesday morning, according to the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office.
