The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a crash in Columbia County involving a school bus around 2:40 p.m. Wednesday.
Troopers said 22-year-old Justin Minisall was traveling south on state Road 47 just south of SW Pickerel Place and failed to stop when a Columbia County school bus activated its emergency equipment and came to a stop to allow students to exit.
According to the FHP report, Minisall struck the left rear end of the school bus.
Troopers said there were no visible brake marks located at the scene, however it was raining at the time of the crash and the roads were wet.
OF the 19 students on the bus, three were transported to local hospitals for minor injuries.
Minisall suffered minor injuries but was not taken to a hospital. He was charged with reckless driving.
