FERNANDINA BEACH, Fla. -- A third child has died after a boat they were in on Lake George Sunday afternoon capsized during a storm.
Cole Bizuk, 5, of Fernandina Beach, died Monday evening at Florida Hospital in Orlando. The two other victims were Dennis Clayton Lennon, 4, and Ciara N. Puskas, 14, both from Eustis.
A woman pulled from the water by the U.S. Coast Guard remains hospitalized.
"This is a sad, sad situation, and our hearts go out to the families and friends of these young children," said Lt. Don McMillen, of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
Officials said they believe the children were wearing life jackets but were trapped in the cabin of the 20-foot Sea Ray when it overturned.
Officials blamed the boating accident and two others on Lake George that afternoon on a sudden change in weather conditions. Witnesses said a micro burst may have churned off the shallow water of the lake. The boat overturned, trapping several passengers under the water.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation continues to investigate the accident.
