Jacksonville police have arrested a man for a hit-and-run in the parking lot of Shands Jacksonville Hospital.

They say Dvon Biggs hit a woman who was in the crosswalk on her way into the hospital.

According to investigators, Biggs admitted he was looking in his mirror, and he said he didn't see the woman.

They said he told them he left because he was scared that he had killed the victim, and he didn't have a valid license. Biggs was jailed downtown on $235,000 bond. He is facing numerous charges.
