SAINT AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- St. Johns County deputies arrested a man early Sunday morning on suspicion of calling 911 twice requesting a police escort to drive him to Miami to see rapper Lil' Wayne.
Michael Kruse, 20, of Jacksonville, was arrested near I-95 after allegedly making two separate 911 calls to authorities. The police report said after the first call, the authorities told him to not call 911 anymore unless it is an emergency. A few hours later, Kruse called them again, police said.
The police said in the report that Kruse might have been under the influence of an unknown substance. Kruse was charged with making a false 911 call. Kruse has since posted bond.
