JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- After three years on the run, a woman accused of scamming insurance companies has been captured.
Investigators caught up with Jian Liu in Canada. She disappeared in 2005, right before investigators tried to arrest her.
Police said she worked for a local acupuncturist and overbilled for treatments. They accused her of pocketing more than $300,000. They say she paid some patients to get them to go along with it.
Liu's now been brought back to Jacksonville. She's being held on $1 million bond.
