JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Jacksonville police have arrested a 17-year-old accused of raping and robbing a woman.
Police said Terry Rivers met a woman at her job earlier this month and exchanged phone numbers with her. According to investigators, Rivers met the woman on the Westside when she got off work. They said Rivers got into the car with the woman and pointed a gun at her, before having two other men get into the car.
Police said the three suspects then kidnapped the woman, forcing her at gunpoint to drive to her home. Investigators said the suspects robbed the woman's home, repeatedly raped her at gunpoint, and then robbed the woman.
Police arrested Rivers Monday night at an apartment complex on the Westside. They had already arrested two other suspects in this case: Gregory Dowdell, 21, and Lee Jones, 20.
Investigators said Dowdell, Jones and Rivers are all tied to robberies in the Arlington area, in addition to this case on the Westside.
Rivers was featured on Channel 4's Wheel of Justice.
