Volunteers Needed For Beach Cleanup

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The city of Jacksonville, Keep Jacksonville Beautiful and the Beaches Sea Turtle Patrol will coordinate the annual July 5th Beaches Cleanup.The cleanup will be held Sunday from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the following locations:- Atlantic Boulevard at the ocean - Beach Boulevard at the ocean - 16th Avenue South in Jacksonville Beach at the oceanVolunteers will remove litter and debris along the shoreline. Litter collection bags and gloves will be distributed at the locations. You must be at least 18 or accompanied by an adult, should wear sturdy footwear and sun protection, and should bring your own drinking water. The cleanups will be canceled in the event of bad weather.
