UPDATED: 10:11 pm EDT July 2, 2009

A Jacksonville man arrested Thursday is the third person facing murder charges in the death of Decoveya Desue, who was found shot to death June 5 in his Starke apartment.

Police did not find Jeffery Jackson, 28, at his Jacksonville residence, but his mother drove him to the Starke Police Department later in the day.

Jackson was charged with first-degree murder and armed burglary and booked into the Bradford County Jail.

Demetrio Tyler, 24, of Fernandina Beach, and Leonard Williams, 26, of Jacksonville, were arrested the day Desue's body was found.

Starke police said it believes the slaying was drug-related and they continue to investigate the case.
