$1M Powerball ticket sold in Jacksonville

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Four people in Florida won $1 million each in Wednesday night's Powerball drawing, and one of those tickets was sold in Jacksonville.

Three winning tickets shared the $448.4 million jackpot.

The winning Quick Pick tickets in Florida were sold at: Publix at 4320 Deerwood Lake Parkway in Jacksonville; 7-Eleven at 51 Harbor Drive in Key Biscayne; Circle K at 4500 East Olive Road in Pensacola; and 7-Eleven at 1529 East Las Olas Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale.

The winning numbers from the Powerball drawing were 05-25-30-58-59, and the Powerball was 32. Each of the four retailers received a $1,000 bonus commission for selling a $1 million ticket, and more than $32 million was transferred to the state's Educational Enhancement Trust Fund from this series of rollovers.

"Once again, Florida proves it's the place to be for winning moments," said Secretary Cynthia O'Connell. "And, the fun continues; Florida currently boasts the highest state lotto jackpot in the nation at $49 million."

The Florida Lotto jackpot has not been hit since April 20, resulting in 31 jackpot rollovers, the most rolls ever in the history of the game.
