JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

Police have arrested two men, a woman and a 17-year-old girl in connection with the shooting death of a man early Wednesday morning during what was described as a home-invasion robbery on the Westside.

Gilberto Larios, 23, was shot several times during a robbery in a mobile home on Nussbaum Street about 12:30 a.m. He died at Shands-Jacksonville Medical Center.

Homicide detectives announce Thursday the arrests of Dwane Randall, 35, Shameen Dean, 29, Hope Rappold, 26, and Jessica White, 17. All four are charged with murder.

One of Larios' roommates told Channel 4's Karin Hirschey on Wednesday that three people -- two men and a woman, each wearing a hooded sweatshirt -- kicked in the front door just after midnight and demanded money.

According to the police report, the shooting victim did not speak English and did not understand the robbers' request.

"I say, 'I don't have money,' and I kick him," the roommate told Channel 4 in Spanish.

The roommate said one of the men then pulled out a gun, grabbed about $170 in cash and a passport, and then shot Larios before leaving.

Police said the money stolen was used to buy beer and crack cocaine.

"All three of them had criminal histories, including (the 17-year-old)," Jacksonville Sheriff's Office Lt. Pat Ivey said. "I think she's just falling into with that gang."
