Two fraternities at the University of Central Florida learned Wednesday their suspensions for alleged hazing are not being lifted.
WKMG-TV broke the story of troubles with the Sigma Chi fraternity after a photo surfaced showing frat members allegedly forcing a pledge to chug alcohol.
At a hearing, the fraternity denied those allegations. However, the school decided to suspend Sigma Chi until the spring of 2017.
Meanwhile, the Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity learned its suspension will last until the fall of 2014 after allegations that underage members were forced to drink on a bus trip.
Both fraternities were also ordered to develop programs to stop future alcohol abuse.
UCF suspended all Greek life last month while it investigated the allegations.
