JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

Police say two siblings who ran away from home were found safe Wednesday afternoon.

Jacksonville police said the children, 9-year-old Weslee and 12-year-old Kerry Sampel, left a note at the Old Kings Road home in San Jose saying they were tired of their mother's rules and were leaving.

Police said that due to the younger child's age and some medical issues, they asked for help from the public in finding the children.

They were last seen at their home between 8:10 a.m. and 11:40 a.m. Wednesday. They were found safe about 4:30 p.m.
