Once on scene, 32-year-old Reshad Medlock, was able to tell deputies he was robbed by two men and beaten with a gun. Detectives said the robbers were able to get an undisclosed amount of cash from Medlock.

Medlock was taken to Flagler Hospital, where he was treated for significant injuries but released.

One robber was described as a black man with dreads, wearing dark pants, a dark shirt and some type of mask to cover his face.

The area was not well lit at the time of the robbery, so witnesses did not clearly see the second man, deputies said.
