PALM COAST, Fla. -

The Flagler County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help in identifying two people believed to be responsible for stealing various merchandise from Sears on Palm Coast Parkway over the last few months.

The store manager contacted the Sheriff's Office on Monday after discovering more than $250 in tools missing from store shelves. The manager told deputies that once he discovered the theft, he checked the store's surveillance video and saw a man and woman had entered the store around 9 a.m. Saturday and stole several items.

The man was seen placing items in his pants, while the woman placed items inside her purse, deputies said.

The couple is described as follows: a black man, 30-40 years old, 6 feet to 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighing between 260 and 320 pounds. He was seen wearing what appeared to be a tan jumpsuit.

The other is a black woman, about 30 years old, weighing between 145 and 170 pounds, and wearing a maroon or purple sleeveless top and dark pants.

Anyone with information on the thieves' identities is asked to call the Flagler County Sheriff's Office Investigative Services Division at 386-586-4801 or Crime Stoppers at 888-277-TIPS (8477).
