One of the men distracted the saleswoman while the other reached over the counter into the back of the display and removed the two rings.

The thieves are described as black men wearing jeans. One of them was wearing a T-shirt with a boonie hat pulled down over his eyes. The other was wearing a long-sleeve white button-down shirt with a ball cap also pulled down over his eyes.

It wasn't until the men left the store before the theft was discovered. The two rings have a retail value of nearly $13,000.

Anyone who can identify the men is asked to call Detective Samantha English at the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office at 904-209-3986 or Crime Stoppers at 888-277-TIPS (8477).
