Deputies say Duval County woman accused of stealing 6 Gucci sunglasses

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – A 25-year-old Duval County woman is being sought on an outstanding warrant for grand theft of sunglasses in March, and deputies say she is a suspect in a similar theft at another store last month.

Letoria Matthews, 25, is charged with stealing six Gucci sunglasses, valued at $2,200, from Rainbow Shades back on March 7, according to the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies said Matthews (pictured, right) was identified with help from the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, who is also seeking Matthews for alleged thefts in Duval County.

Matthews is also a suspect in connection with the theft of eight designer sunglasses from the Sunglass Hut on Oct. 14. Deputies said a second suspect was observed removing sunglasses at the same time and detectives are attempting to identify her.
