Putnam County Sheriff's Office Issues Warrant

PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. -- The Putnam County Sheriff's Office is on the hunt for a man following an incident on Saturday.The PCSO responded to an address south of Crescent City regarding an altercation with injuries. Upon arrival, the deputies observed a 6-inch laceration on left side of the head of Jorge Torres, 24, of Satsuma. Following an investigation, it was determined that Torres was struck in the head with a machete.PCSO issued a warrant for the other person involved in the altercation, Reynaldo Escobar, 37, of Crescent City. He is wanted in connection with the injuries to Torres.Torres was transported to Shands Hospital in Jacksonville where his condition is unknown. Anyone with information regarding the location of Escobar is asked to call the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office at 386-329-0800.
